Dodgers to sign another Aruban talent

They have to wait until July 2nd but then the Los Angeles Dodgers will sign another player from Aruba to a minor league contract.

Rolando Petronia from Oranjestad will likely be sent to the Dominican Summer League before he will start to play on the American mainland. The infielder spent most of his years with the Blue Marlins club from Noord, Aruba. Only last year he moved to the Hammershark organization.

With this club, he intensified his training, cleaned up his fielding mechanics and has worked hard on his speed acquisition and according to Sports Zone Aruba, he is ready for the next level of play.

Even though the Dodgers are only allowed to sign Rolando from July 2nd, both parties have reached a deal already.

Unfortunately there are no stats to be found on the internet so it is hard to tell how good this kid really is.
