Chadwick Tromp called up to Giants
Aruban catcher Chadwick Tromp has been called up by the San Francisco Giants today. The backstop confirmed this on his Twitter account.

After MLB restarted “Spring Training”, Tromp made a strong cause for a roster spot but was sent to the alternate training site. But now the he has been added to the Giants’ roster.

Last season, Tromp played for the Louisville Bats (AAA, Cincinnati Reds) but had an injury-riddled season. After a rehab assignment with the Reds AZL team, he was appointed to the Louisville Bats again and batted .286 in 77 games of which he sat behind the dish in 22. After the 2019 season, he opted free agency and ended up with the Giants.
