Kalian Sams released by Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen

Within a month after the start of the Mexican Baseball League season, Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen released Kalian Sams. Despite getting seven hits in as many games, the Mexican League club thought it was time for him to go.

The outfielder from The Hague actually did not do this bad but he has been victimized due to the impatience in Mexican baseball.
Kalian appeared in seven games and collected seven hits in twenty-six at bats. Three of those hits were doubles. But despite spending on players in the off season, the Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen had a 2-5 record and found itself back in seventh place in the nine team South Division. As a result, the club chopped heads and replaced those players with new ones. Kalian was the victim of this action.

Notable feat is that Kalian was hitting .315 before his last game but then went 0 for 4 and his average dropped to .269. Furthermore, he cannot be released because of his defense as you look to this play in center field.

Last season Kalian played with the Quebec Capitales of the CanAm League.  He did a very good job there as he was named MVP and was named on of the three best outfielders in the league by the managers of the league. The team was even this happy with him that Kalian was in the center of a promotional night when he ran the bases against a horse.

The club from the capital of the province of Quebec, stated earlier this year that they’d love to get the speedy slugger from the Hague back.
