Japanese pitcher for DSS

DSS, the baseball club from Haarlem that recently earned a promotion to the hoofdklasse, has acquired lefthanded pitcher Tsuyoshi Iwamoto. This 29-year old pitcher has pitched at several levels in the USA, Australia and Japan.

In 2011 he pitched a season for a local minor league team in Australia, the Cronulla Sharks. In 2012 he pitched for the San Diego Samurai of the Western Baseball Association, a wood bat collegiate league in Southern California. Samurai San Diego has been a licensed partner with the Shikoku Island League plus, a Japanese Independent Professional baseball league.
In 2014 Tsuyoshi played in the Texas Winter League and for the Kashima Dreams of the Japanese baseball academy JBCA.

Here is some footage of Tsuyoshi. He is a kind of side arm pitcher.

Tsuyoshi will join DSS on January 16 for the preparation for the 2014 Hoofdklasse season.
