Japan Day returns at De Glaskoning Twins

After a huge success last year, De Glaskoning Twins will organize Japan Day for the second time this year. This year’s edition will be held on September 10. Just like last year, there will be a Japanese pitcher in the center of the attention. Last year this was Keiji Uezono, this year it will be Daisuke Yamashita, who will be in the center of the attention.

Just like last year, Japan Day will be a big party. Everything Japanese will be at the baseball ground of De Glaskoning Twins, for this one day called Samurai Twins. Think about Japanese catering with Japanese skewer with rice and string beans or fried chicken balls with rice and string beans and not to forget sushi, lots of sushi.

Like last year, there will be a lottery with many (Japanese) prizes.

The Japanese ambassador in the Netherlands, Mr. Inomata, will be the guest of honor and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Of course there will be a baseball match going on that day. De Glaskoning Twins will host DSS from Haarlem.

So if you still do not have any appointments in your agenda, mark the 10th of September and come to Oosterhout to attend this year’s Japan Day. Just like last year, it will be a blast.
