Dutchies in MLB Spring Training
Yesterday a couple of Dutchies got playing time in a spring training game. Ray-Patrick Didder got an at bat for the Braves and Spencer Kieboom sat behind the dish for the Nationals.
The Atlanta Braves took on the Philadelphia Phillies and won 3-2. In the top of the seventh
inning, Ray-Patrick replaced right fielder Nick Markakis. In the top of the eighth inning, Didder moved to center field.
In his sole at bat in the bottom of the eighth inning, Ray-Patrick grounded out softly 5-3. He recorded one out in the top of the eighth as Taylor Featherston lined out to center field.

Despite being pulled from the 40-man roster, Spencer got playing time with the MLB squad of the Washington Nationals. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Spencer entered the game in the bottom of the seventh inning as he replaced catcher Raudy Read. Spencer made his presence felt as he bowled Breyvic Valera off first base with a surprising throw.
In his sole at bat Spencer popped out to to second base for the first out of the ninth inning.
