“Rebranding” day in baseball
It was a day where two baseball clubs showed their new team colours.
First of all, the Nashville Sounds of the AAA Pacific Coast League. They will move into a new ballpark at the start of this season, which is an excellent reason to rebrand. They had already shown their new logo, but at that time it was in orange. Now the new colour is red.

Old colours New colours
Another team that showed it’s new look is the Jamestown Jammers. I hear you think: “Jamestown Jammers? Didn’t they move to Morgantown?” Yes they did. The Jamestown Jammes moved to Morgantown to become the West Virgina Black Bears.
So what is this Jamestown Jammers thing about? After the New York-Penn League announced that the old Jammers team would move to Morgantown WV, the new summer-collegiate Prospect League jumped in to place a team there. The new owner group Morgantown Baseball LLC struck a deal with Minor League Baseball to use the name Jamestown Jammers.
The new team will have a different look than the previous Jammers team.

I probably won’t follow the team because I don’t follow collegiate baseball, but I like the home cap for sure.
The general logo is a lot better than the one of the professional club.

Oh, I must admit that I didn’t realize that the old Jammers team has moved to West Virginia. 😉
