ABL:Bite wins in extra innings, Van Mil clinches third win

The Adelaide Bite trailed most of the game vs the Canberra Cavalry but got their groove right in time.
At the end of the fifth inning, the Bite trailed 4-1 but they came back in
the game in the bottom of the sixth when they scored two runs on a solo homerun by David Page and a ground ball single to left field by Travis Demeritte on which Tom Brice scored from second base.
In the bottom of the ninth, Connar O’Gorman doubled to center field and drove in Travis Demeritte from second, who had gotten there on a throwing error towards first base in his at bat.
So they fans had some free baseball as the game went on to the tenth. The
Bite brought in Loek van Mil. He gave up two hits, struck out two and retired a batter on a fly ball towards center field.
The game ended in a total anti climax when, with the bases loaded and two outs, James Kennedy hit Mason Wickard with a pitch to give up the walk off run to the Bite.

Despite pitching only one inning, Loek van Mil clinched his third win. He lowered his ERA to 1.35.
The Brisbane Bandits battered the Sydney Blue Sox as they won 10-2.
Donald Lutz got one hit in three at bats as he doubled in the bottom of the third to drive in two runs.
The Melbourne Aces did some good business as they won the double
header vs the Perth Heat. The first game was won with six runs to five and in the second game the Aces
pummeled the Heat pitching as they already led by 8-0 in the fourth inning. After that the run production
stalled. Eventually the Heat scored one run to make it 8-1 for the final score.
