Already having clinched the first spot in group B, the Netherlands took on Ukraine in the final game of the round robin. Just like Belgium and Germany, Ukraine was no match and lost in six mercy rule innings.

With one out, Julian Rip hit another extra base hit (a double) and scored on Max Kops’ single to right field. A series of singles by Delano Selassa, Ruendrick Piternella, and Diamond Silberie drove in three runs. After Tyriq Kemp drew a walk, Yurdion Martie hit a three-run shot to left field.
With runners on first and second and two outs in the sixth, Diamond Silberie singled up the middle to drive in Max Kops from second for the game-ending run.
Koen Postelmans pitched a “complete” game gem which earned him the win. In six innings he allowed only four hits and issued only one walk as he struck out five. Myroslav Zhylka took the loss. In four innings, he gave up two runs on four hits and a walk and struck out one.
Julian Rip was the best hitter for the Netherlands. He went 2 for 3 with a double and a triple and scored twice. So far this season, The most runs (three) were driven in by Diamond Silberie as he went 2 for 4 with one run scored.
