Czech Extraliga to start soon

According to the Czech baseball website Milujeme Baseball, the Czech Republic’s highest baseball league, the Extraliga, will start playing in the third week of May. After the CPBL (Taiwan) and the KBO (Korea), it will be the third league to resume play.

Due to a lot of insecurity and changing situations, it wasn’t clear when the Extra League would start. It was assumed to take off on June 12 but today it became clear the start will come three weeks earlier than expected.

The start of the Czech baseball season will be on Friday, May 22nd. The schedule will be published a.s.a.p.
