Neptunus extends sponsor contract
2019 runner up in the Dutch championship, Curaçao Neptunus has extended the contract with its main sponsor United Foundation, the club announced through a press release today.
The Curaçao-based foundation promotes the Isle of Curaçao in various ways. One of them is by sponsoring multiple Dutch baseball champion Neptunus from Rotterdam.

The 2020 season (or what will be left of it) will be the seventh year in which United Foundation will be the main sponsor of Neptunus. As the flagship team has plenty of players with roots to the Isle of Curaçao, it may not have been strange that the foundation chose to become the sponsor of the Rotterdam-based club.
During the past six years when the jerseys of Neptunus were adorned with the name of Curaçao, the club won almost everything: Dutch championships (2015-2018) and the European Champions Cup (2015, 2017, and 2018).
Only last year was a season without a big prize as the club did not make it to the final of the European Champions Cup and as the club blew a 3-0 lead in the Holland Series to lose to L&D Amsterdam Pirates.
With United Foundation, Neptunus has a formidable loyal sponsor. Many teams may envy the club from Rotterdam for it.
