European Champions Cup 2019: Neptunus ends in third place after forfeit

In the consolation game for the third and fourth spot, Curaçao Neptunus took revenge for the whipping the team got last night in the semi-final. Eventually, Neptunus won thanks to a forfeit. About how you will read below.
In the second inning, Neptunus laid the foundation for a solid victory over Pariclima Parma. With the bases loaded and no outs, Coco Johnson singled through the left side and advanced to second on a fielding error and thus Neptunus scored two runs of which one was unearned. Two additional runs were scored when Stijn van der Meer singled up the middle.
In the fourth inning, two hits and two walks led to three more runs for the Dutch champion. In the meantime, Orlando Yntema kept Pariclima Parma in check for five innings. He allowed just three hits and struck out five before he was pulled at the start of the sixth in favor of Misja Harcksen. On the Italian side, Erly Casanova lasted only two innings in which he gave up four runs (two earned) on three hits and four walks and struck out one. His successor, Yomel Rivera, didn’t last very long either. In 2.2 innings, he gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks as he struck out four.
After the sixth inning, trailing by 7-0, Pariclima Parma forfeited the game, because Owen Ozanich was hit by a comebacker from the bat of Tyriq Kemp. Right now he appears to be suffering from a complicated fractured leg.
