HCAW  2  –  1  Curaçao Neptunus
In a real pitching duel, HCAW stayed at the right side of the score as it surprisedHCAW Neptunus for the second consecutive day. Starting pitchers Chris Pfau and Elton Koeiman kept the opponent in check rather well. Pfau lasted five innings in which he gave up a run on four hits. The five walks he issued were on the high side but still he managed to strike out seven. Koeiman lasted 4.2 innings in which he gave up two runs on five hits and struck out two.
HCAW took the lead in the fourth on a triple to right-center field by Vince Rooi on which Jeandro Tromp could score from second base. But in the very same inning, Neptunus tied the game again when Shaldimar Daantji scored on a single to right field hit by Quentin de Cuba. In the fifth inning, Roland Laurens tripled to right-center field and scored on Patrick Bok’s single down the left field line. Three double plays in three different inningsNeptunus helped the HCAW pitching to get out of trouble.
Chris Pfau earned the win and Elton Koeiman took the loss. Dennis Burgersdijk earned a three-inning save in which he gave up two hits and fanned one.
Best hitter for HCAW was Jeandro Tromp, who went 2 for 4 with a run scored.

Hoofddorp Pioniers  5  –  10  DSS
Three errors cost Pioniers dearly as they allowed DSS to score three unearned runs. AfterPioniers Pioniers had taken a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, DSS came back to 3-2. One inning later, three singles and two doubles in an offensive outburst made DSS score five runs. In the fifth and the sixth inning, DSS managed to extend their lead to seven runs (10-3). Scott Prins pitched four innings in which he gave up three runs on five hits and two walks and struck out two. Silicon Storks  2  –  4  Cityside Apartments Quick Amersfoort
Once again, Silicon Storks stayed at the wrong side of the score but also this time theAfbeeldingsresultaat voor silicon storks team didn’t play a bad game. Cityside Apartments Quick Amersfoort was just a tad better. Former St. Louis Cardinals farmhand Juan Carlos Sulbaran recorded two quick outs in the first inning but then failed to get out of it. A single by Bryan Engelhardt and back-to-back doubles by Tijmen Takke and Rachid Engelhardt drove in two runs.
After he allowed another run in the third inning, Juan Carlos Sulbaran was pulled after the fourth inning as his pitch count had hit 85.
Eventually, Storks scored in the sixth and the eight to make it 4-2. Notable feat: Runai Coran scored Storks’ second run as he stole home plate in the eighth inning.
Colin van Laar earned the win after 5.2 innings. He allowed one run on four hits and two walks and struck out four. Juan Carlos Sulbaran took the loss. In four innings he gave up three runs on six hits and two walks and struck out seven.
Best hitter for Cityside Apartments Quick Amersfoort was Bryan Engelhardt who went 2 for 2 with a run scored.

L&D Amsterdam Pirates  8  –  4  De Glaskoning Twins
A bitter loss for De Glaskoning Twins. After the team turned the tables in the secondAmsterdam Pirates inning thanks to a six-run inning, partially thanks to a three-run dinger by Dennis de Quint, the team did not manage to cling on to the lead and fell to Pirates 8-4. But Twins was hit by bad luck. In the eighth inning, with a 6-4 lead, Thijs Steenwijk was supposed to close out the game but after two pitches, he grabbed his arm and left the game. Jan Evertse stepped in in his relief but did not manage to keep Pirates from scoring as the Amsterdam based team turned the tables on its turn and scored four times. Those four runs came on two sac flies, a triple and a wild pitch.
Twins had the opportunity to extend their lead in the fifth and the sixth but bad base running prevented them from doing so as in both cases, runners ran home from third when they didn’t need to as the ball was hit directly to the infielders and they wereTwins thrown out at home plate.
Daan Hendrix, who did not allow a hit, walked one and fanned three, earned the win for Pirates. The loss went to Jan Evertse. Jim Ploeger earned the save.
Viktor Draijer was the best hitter for L&D Amsterdam Pirates with three hits out of four at-bats.
