Augusta GreenJackets unveil new logo
The Augusta GreenJackets, single-A farm team of the San Francisco Giants in the South Atlantic League, will move into a new ballpark next year. The club wanted a new logo to reflect the new ballpark. Even though the previous logos were nice, the new ones are a major upgrade over the old ones.

This new look, which will be prevalent throughout the park, will feel right at home with the design of the venue and represent the GreenJackets as we enter a new era of baseball in the CSRA”, GreenJackets president Jeff Eiseman stated.
“We went way down the road on a couple of different looks but decided that we need the bug,” said Jeff Eiseman, president, and partner of the GreenJackets’ Agon Sports and Entertainment ownership group. “It all came back to the bug.”
The name GreenJackets refers to the Masters Golf Tournament that is played in Augusta every year. The winner of this tournament gets a green jacket. It is a kind of playing with words as the insect is normally called a yellow jacket.

The logos were designed by a well-known party in Minor League Baseball: Brandiose.
“Working with the Brandiose team to create the new era of GreenJackets Baseball was a great experience,” said Tom Denlinger, GreenJackets Vice President. “Jason and Casey dug deep into the rich history of baseball and golf in the CSRA and allowed us to develop and create a new iconic brand for everyone to enjoy!”
“Augusta is one of baseball’s most legendary franchises,” said Brandiose’s Casey White. “We can’t wait to share all the exciting things fans are going to experience at SRP Park this season.”
Unlike the old caps, the club turns to an all green cap. The old home cap was all black while the alternate cap was green with a black lid. The new cap is not for sale in the GreenJackets’ online store yet.
