Jair Jurrjens is a minor league free agent as well

Yesterday you could read about three Dutchies becoming minor league free agents. It appears that Jair Jurrjens joined them after he filed for free agency as well.
After a solid World Baseball Classic, Jurrjens signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers, who sent him to AAA Oklahoma City. With the local Dodgers, Jurrjens had a somewhat shaky season. Thanks to four bad starts his ERA jumped to 4.64, the opponent’s batting average stood at .290 and his WHIP was 1.49.
In his last ten starts, Jair still pitched six games in which he allowed two runs or less. His best outing came on May 1, when he lasted six innings, gave up one run and struck out ten.
But then on June 15, Jair was suspended for eighty games as he was tested positive for PED use. After serving his suspension, the Dodgers pulled him from their restricted list on September 6 but Jair filed for free agency on November 6.
In the meantime, Jair is playing for the Licey Tigers from the Dominican Winter League.
Until last Monday, his ERA stood at 1.29 but last Monday Jair lasted only three innings giving up five runs (three earned) so his ERA rose to 2.65. His team is having a bad season so far as the team is in last place with a 7-13 record.
