Four Dutchies invited for MiLB All-Star Games

Several players from the Dutch Kingdom are playing such good seasons, they have received an invitation for the various minor league All-Star Games.  Gianfranco Wawoe, Sicnarf Loopstok, Darren Seferina and Carter Kieboom are the ones who received invitations.

Three of the four players will appear in A-Advanced All-Star Games: Darren Seferina, Sicnarf Loopstok and Gianfranco Wawoe. Seferina will appear in the ASG of the Florida State League, Wawoe will play in the California League All-Star Game and Loopstok will play in the ASG of the Carolina League.

Darren Seferina is having a decent year with the Palm Beach Cardinals. In 53 games, Darren has collected 54 hits out of 214 at-bats (.252). As an infielder, Darren has committed five errors in 38 games (25 games at second base with four errors, 12 at third base with one error and one game at shortstop (2 innings) without an error).
Darren will play with the Southern Division All-Stars.

Sicnarf Loopstok has a good season at bat with the Lynchburg Hillcats. In 53 games he collected 54 hits out of 192 at-bats (.281). Even though his player page tells us he is a catcher, Sicnarf has played most games at first base. In 31 games as a first bagger, he committed three errors (.989 fielding percentage). In nine games as a catcher, Sicnarf committed three errors as well (.958 fielding percentage). He also played seven games in left field in which he stayed flawless.
Sicnarf will be on the roster of the North Division in the ASG of the Carolina League.

Gianfranco Wawoe will play in the California League ASG. A very good season at bat (.301 batting average with the Modesto Nuts) resulted in a promotion to the AA Arkansas Travelers of the Texas League. But with the Travs, Gianfranco struggled at the plate as he hit .241. After his return to the California League, he continued where he left even though his numbers have dropped a bit as he collected only eight hits in 32 at-bats in his last ten games.
In the upcoming All-Star Game, Wawoe will represent the North Division of the California League.

One player who has received an invitation will not be able to play in the All-Star Game of the South Atlantic League. Carter Kieboom is dealing with an injury. But his numbers before he got injured, earned him the invitation. In 111 at-bats (.333), Carter collected 37 hits of which ten doubles and six home runs. There is some room to improve his defense though as he is sporting a fielding percentage of .947.
