Didi Gregorius goes 2 for 4 in Yankees’ win

Last night the Yankees avoided a sweep by winning the third game of the three game series vs the Anaheim Angels.
The Yankees took a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Didi Gregorius led off with a sharp single to right field, followd by a sac bunt laid down by Stephen Drew. When Brett Gardner grounded out to first base, Gregorius advanced to third and eventually scored on a line drive to right field, hit by Chase Headley.
In the top of the sixth, Garrett Jones hit a solo homerun to right center field to give the Yankees a 2-0 lead.
In the top of the eighth inning, with the bases loaded, Didi Gregorius singled to center field and drove in Brian McCann for the 3-0 lead.
In the bottom of the eighth, Justin Wilson replaced Chasen Shreve on the mound and retired the first two batters before he gave up a solo homerun to Mike Trout.
Nathan Eovaldi lasted 5.1 innings in which he gave up five hits, walked three and fanned three.
Dellin Betances earned his seventh save even though he gave up two walks.
Didi Gregorius raised his batting average to .240 for the first time this season. Chase Headley was the best hitter for the Yankees, going 3 for 5.
