Sharnol Adriana appointed manager of Mexican League team

Former professional and Dutch team member Sharnol Adriana has been appointed manager of the Mexican League club Rojos del Águila de Veracruz. Adriana has a year of experience as a hitting coach with the club under his belt.
In previous years he got experience as manager of Chileros de Xalapa in the Liga Invernal Veracruzana, one of the winter in Mexico. During spring training Adriana took over the role of manager for a short while when manager Héctor Estrada was absent due to family business. That very same manager has been fired now by the Rojos del Águila de Veracruz’ management because of the poor results. Under Estrada’s helm, the club only managed to win nineteen games of the fourty-seven games played. Thanks to this result the Rojos del Águila de Veracruz are dead last in the South division of the Mexican League, seven games out of first place.
Sharnol Adriana has a lot of experience under his belt as player in the Mexican League. Since 2000 he played for Cafeteros de Cordoba, Piratas de Campeche, Rojos del Águila de Veracruz, Petroleros de Minatitlán and Broncos de Reynosa in a total of 1,307 games.
In the US, Sharnol played at several levels in the minors. He spent most of the time at AA and had several stints at AAA.
Adriana has played for the Dutch national team in several international tournaments: 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics; the inaugural World Baseball Classic in 2006, the WBC in 2009; 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007 World Cup; 2002 and 2006 Intercontinental Cup; 2003 and 2007 European Cup.
