European Cup 2014: Results of Day Eight

Four runs in the first and six runs in the second inning were enough for Spain to claim the victory over France. The French scored a run in the first, three in the fifth and one in the sixth for the final score 10-5. With this victory Spain won the bronze medal.

Finally Germany won a game in the second round. With  5-2 our east neighbours were too strong for the Czech Republic.  The Germans outhit the Czechs 13-5.

Well, the Dutch have clinched homefield advantage in the championship game tomorrow by beating Italy 5-0.

Only the first and second place are unclear, but the rest of the standings are as follows:
