Belgian Division One: April 6, 2025 Match of The Day
There was only one game today, so automatically it is the Game of The Day. The Brasschaat Braves hosted the Braine Black Rickers and shoved them aside.

Braine Black Rickers 4 – 24 Brasschaat Braves
After a scoreless first inning, the Brasschaat Braves took a lead. A wild pitch allowed Matthew Joossens to open the score. After a bases-loaded walk and another wild pitch, the Broves took a 3-0 lead, which did not last long by the way as the Black Rickers tied the game in the top of the next inning.

An error by the Braves’ starting pitcher allowed Jhoanderson Freites to score, followed by a two-run single, hit down the right field line, by Oreste Garcia Pupo.
But in the bottom of the third, the Braves scored five runs and never looked back. In the next three innings, the Braves scored sixteen more runs to finish the game in six frames.
Youngster Jonas Bremans debuted with the Braves and earned the win. In five innings, he gave up three runs on four hits and four walks and posted a 5.40 ERA and struck out one. Frédéric Mumenthaler took the loss. In three innings he gave up eight runs on seven hits and five walks.

Matthew Joossens was the best hitter for Brasschaat, as he went 4 for 5 with three RBI and four runs scored.
As the Braves are the only team that won both games this weekend, they are in the lead of the standings.
