Several European Climbers in New WBSC Ranking

In the new world ranking, presented by the WBSC, several European countries climbed some spots. The biggest climber is Norway, which climbed twelve places into rank 63.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands, still the best European country in this ranking, climbed a spot.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands climbed a spot from the eighth into the seventh with 3,187 points. The recent success of the U15 and U23 teams during the 2023 European Championships must have helped to climb one place.

The second best European country, Italy, stayed put at the twelfth spot.

But there are more European successes to be mentioned.

The Czech Republic moved from sixteenth into fifteenth place. Germany moved up one spot into seventeenth place.
Also, Austria climbed a spot into twenty-sixth place. Sweden even gained six spots and is now in the thirty-third spot in this ranking. Hungary moved up seven places and is now ranked fortieth. Ireland moved up three places into the forty-ninth spot and Bulgaria gained four spots into fifty-third place. Slovakia moved up eleven places into fifty-seventh place, but the biggest European climber by far is Norway. The Scandinavian country moved up twelve places into position sixty-three.
