In the first semi-final, Spain will take on the Kingdom of the Netherlands. So far the Netherlands has won all thirty-six games. But in the last few years, Spain has improved tremendously, mainly because of the many import players from South America and Central America.
Spain reached the semi-finals as they finished second in group B and faced the Czech Republic that finished third in group A. Spain won that match 5-4 in ten innings.
The Netherlands got in the semis by finishing in first place in group A and brushed aside Belgium 17-2 in five innings.
The first semi-final will start at 15.00 (3 PM CET).
