Jackie Robinson West stripped from American title

This morning I wrote that Jackie Robinson West might have been cheating. Chicago Little League would consider what to do.

Jackie Robinson West was stripped from its American title by Little League baseball. What was the reason for this decision?

In December 2014 accusations were made about the LL district violating regency rules. Now it appears that the new district administrator changed the boundaries of Chicago without the needed approvals. As a “coincidence” the new administrator, Michael Kelly, used to be part of Jackie Robinson West for twenty years before he joined the Chicago district.

This is especially bitter for the Las Vegas team that played against Jackie Robinson West in the US championship game. Of course we will never know if they ever would have beaten Korea.

This scam does seriously harm the prestige and honour of Little League baseball. It will be because of that, Little League baseball has fired Michael Kelly.
