Hill City Howlers Present New Line of Caps

This is kind of old news (but still worth posting about) as the Hill City Howlers presented their new line of caps on October 19. A major improvement over the original cap the club introduced at the start of the season.

In a previous post about the rebranding of the (former) Lynchburg Hillcats, yours truly showed his disappointment about the previous on-field cap.

But earlier this month, the Howlers (single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians in the Carolina League) came up with five new on-field caps. As written in the prologue, these five are a major improvement over the dull original.

The caps show all alternate logos the club introduced in February of this year. Most caps have a slightly darker shade of royal blue, except the one that depicts Gily the Creature, which is black.

When yours truly shared his disappointment about the previous on-field cap, the club answered that I had to wait until the off season. The waiting was worth it as any of these new caps is splendid.

The question is which cap will be worn with which jersey, something that we will learn in the 2027 season.
