According to Taiwan Center of Disease Control, the participants of the upcoming Olympic Qualifier, set to take place from June 17 through June 22, foreign teams will need a 7-day quarantine upon arriving in Taiwan.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands will be the European representative in the final qualifier. Next to the Dutch, Taiwan, China, the top nation of the Oceania Pre Qualifier (likely Australia), and two teams coming from the Americas Qualifier (second and third place) will participate.
It is not engraved in stone yet as the CPBL, the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association and the Taiwan Sports Administration will meet on April 15 before they will comment on the CDC’s reccomendation. After the meeting of April 15, they will report to the WBSC.
