Italian Serie A1 schedule published

While we are still waiting for the schedule of the Dutch Hoofdklasse season, the FIBS has posted the schedule of the 2020 Italian Serie A1 on its website. As written before, the season will start on Wednesday, July 8.

In the first game that will be played this year, Nettuno 2 will host Godo Knights.  Nettuno 2 and Godo Knights will face each other in a doubleheader in Godo on Saturday, July 11.

The other games scheduled on July 8 are Collecchio @ Hotsand Macerata and Fortitudo Bologna @ Parmaclima.

Hotsand Macerata and Collecchio will face each other in Macerata for a doubleheader on Saturday. The same goes for Parmaclima and Fortitudo Bologna as both teams will play a doubleheader in Bologna.

Because Grizzlies Torino, Nettuno Baseball City and Rangers Redipuglia withdrew from the season, there will be only seven teams in this year’s Serie A1. As a result, San Marino will have a bye in the first round.
