Tampa Bay Rays unveil throwback anniversary jersey
This year the Tampa Bay Rays will celebrate their 20th anniversary. For the occasion, the club will wear a throwback jersey that goes back to the early days of the club. The jersey was presented today.

The jersey is similar to the ones the Devil Rays wore in the first three years of their existence. The script on the front of the jersey says Devil Rays, the color of the letters (blue and green) merge. Of course the fish, the club was named after is also shown on the front. The cap that comes with the uniform also shows the original Devil Ray logo on the crown. One difference with the original cap, this one is navy instead of black.
Next to the jersey and the cap, the Rays unveiled their 20th anniversary logo. Next to the current (sun) rays logo, the anniversary logo also shows the Devil Rays logo on top of the number 20.
The jersey and the cap will be worn on specific dates: March 31 vs the Red Sox, June 9 vs the Mariners, June 23 vs the Yankees and September 8 vs the Orioles.
The 20th anniversary logo will be shown on the left sleeve of the Rays’ jersey but also on the right side of their caps.
