Mariners turn back the clock and yet not

The Seattle Mariners have unveiled their new alternate Sunday uniform.

The lettering and logo (on the sleeve) are the same than those at their home jersey. But the new uniform has the same colouring as the Mariners had in the seventies and eighties.

Besides the new alternate Sunday home uniform the Mariners showed their new regular home uniform. It looks like the previous one but the colour scheme is different. Personally I think this is not an improvement.

But it will generate a lot of new money and that is what it is all about of course.

Anyhow, in my humble opinion the alternate home Sunday jersey looks great. But the price to buy it as a fan is rather on the expensive side: $ 238.99
