On the third day of round three in the second half of the season, the following games were scheduled.
UVV @ HCAW; Vaessen Pioniers @ Pronto DSS; Mampaey the Hawks @ Curacao Neptunus and Corendon Kinheim @ L&D Amsterdam Pirates .
UVV @ HCAW 4 – 2
With HCAW as the home team it was another close game. After both teams scored a run in the first inning, UVV took a 2-1
lead when Dennis Ribbens scored from third base on a single to center field hit by Gilmer Lampe. Both teams scored again in the seventh inning, Rossini Frolijk hit a solo homerun for HCAW, UVV scored another run in the top of the eighth. In the bottom of the eighth, HCAW had a runner in scoring position but couldn’t cash in when Roy Seltenrijch flew out to left field for the final out of the inning. In the bottom of the ninth Kevin Nieveld led off and was hit by a pitch. In an attempt to steal second, he was thrown out. After Ermersson Paula struck out,
Rossini Frolijk drew a walk before Jelle Blaauw flew out to right field for the final out of the game.
Ian DeLamarre lasted seven inning in which he allowed two runs on four hits for the win. He gave up one walk and struck out two. Kaj Timmermans took the loss after he allowed two runs on five hits in 5.1 innings. Timmermans issued five wal
ks and struck out two. Best hitter for UVV was Gilmer Lampe who went 2 for 4 with two runs batted in. Brian Biezen went 1 for 2 with a run scored for HCAW. The game had a five minute delay after the first base umpire was hit in the groin after a pick off attempt.
Vaessen Pioniers @ Pronto DSS 3 – 1
In a close game Pioniers took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning. After DSS tied the game in the seventh inning, Pioniers countered immediately in the top of the eighth innnig as Daniel Fernandes homered down the left field line to give Pioniers a 2-1 lead again. One inning later scored another run on a homerun; this time hit by Quintin de Cuba. In the second half of the ninth inning, Bayron Cornelisse shut the door for DSS as he retired the side for the save.
Elton Koeiman lasted 7.1 innings and allowed one run on seven hits for the win. Cornelisse walked five and struck out six.
Mark van Deursen was tabbed with the loss after he gave up the go-ahead run to Pioniers in one inning of work. 
Best hitter for Pioniers was Daniel Fernandes. He went 2 for 4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Tino van Erk went 2 for 3 for DSS.
Mampaey the Hawks @ Curacao Neptunus 1 – 9
Curacao Neptunus needed two big innings to clinch the win. With Adrian Anthony on second base and Gyenuar Lopez on
first base in the second inning, Shaldimar Daantji laid down a sac bunt but a throwing error by catcher Julian Goins allowed him to reach base safely. Adrian Anthony advanced to third and scored on the error. Gyenuar Lopez advanced to third base on the error. After Shaldimar Daantji stole second, Mourik Huijser drew a walk to load the bases. When Stijn van der Meer grounded towards first base, he got on base on a fielder’s choice when first baseman Gregory Trinidad threw towards homeplate for the force out. Dwayne Kemp then drew a bases loaded walk that scored the second run for Neptunus. Benjamin Dille hit a single to right field and drove in Mourik Huijser and Stijn van der Meer for the third and fourth run of the game. Three innings later Neptunus scored five more runs to bring the score at 9-0. The Hawks finally got on the board in the top of the eighth. With two outs, Kevin van Veen drew a walk, followed by a single by Gregory Trinidad to put runners on first and second. Eventually Van Veen scored the sole run for the Hawks as Louis J. Sienders singled up through the
middle.
Orlando Yntema lasted seven innings for the win. Yntema gave up seven hits, walked two and fanned ten. Enoch Deaton took the loss after 4.1 innings. He gave up nine runs (only two earned) on seven hits. He walked five and struck out one. Shaldimar Daantji went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Kevin van Veen went 2 for 3 with a run scored.
Corendon Kinheim @ L&D Amsterdam Pirates 3 – 7
Corendon Kinheim scored a run in the third and in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead. But L&D Amsterdam Pirates bounced back
with three runs in the bottom of the fourth. In the top of the fifth, Kinheim tied it all when Brian Engelhardt hit a solo homerun down the right field line. But that would be all for Kinheim. Pirates scored two runs in the fifth with two outs. Kenny Berkenbosch grounded to third base and reached first base safely on a throwing error by third baseman Mervin Gario. A triple by Remco Draijer and a single by Bas Nooij drove in the two runs. In the next inning, with one out, Linoy Croes laid down a bunt for a single. After Roelie Enrique singled, Michael Duursma flew out to put runners on the corners. A single hit by Nick Urbanus drove in Croes and put runners on the corners again. With a double steal, Nick Urbanus advanced to second base and Roelie Henrique stole homeplate for the final run of the game.
Kyle Ward earned the win for Pirates after pitching eight innings in which he gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits. Ward didn’t give up a walk and retired nine hitters with a strikeout. David Bergman took the loss after he gave up seven hits
(five earned) on eleven hits. Bergman walked one and fanned one. The best hitter for Pirates was catcher Bas Nooij, who went 3 for 4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. The catcher of Kinheim also went 3 for 4 with a homerun, a run scored and an RBI.
