Dutchies in the low Minors
After a long wait, most of the low Minor Leagues started their season will start their season around these days: Northwest League, New York-Penn League, Pioneer League and the Appalachian League. The Northwest League and the Pioneer League both started yesterday, the Appalachian League will start coming Monday and the New York-Penn League will play it’s first games tonight.
Yesterday a couple of Dutchies saw action.
Northwest League:
Sherman Lacrus started the game behind the plate for the Spokane Indians. In five at bats he collected three hits and batted in one run. On the
defensive side he let one ball get passed him and he allowed one runner to steal a base.
Pioneer League:
Jonathan Martijn from Curacao started in left field for the Billings Mustangs. He got one basehit in four at bats and drove in a run. 
Milan Post from Diemen, a community next to Amsterdam, debuted with the Helena Brewers behind the plate last night. In four at bats he got one basehit and he managed to draw a walk. On the defensive side he allowed one runner sto steal seond base.
In a game that ended with a handball score (16-10) Denzel Richardson and his Grand Junction Rockies stayed at the right
side of the score. Denzel got one hit out of five at bats, struck out once and drew a walk once. Denzel was also caught stealing and caught in a 1-3-6 run down.
