Matt den Dekker also hit leadoff in the Syracuse Chiefs’ 5-2 win over the Gwinnett Braves. The right fielder went 3 for 5 with a double, a strikout and an RBI.

The Springfield Cardinals beat the Tulsa Drillers with the closest possible marging: 1-0. Shawn Zarraga entered the game in the ninth as a defensive subsitution and got one at bat in the bottom of that inning in which he flew out to center field

In the Potomac Nationals’ 5-1 win over the Frederik Keys, Spencer Kieboom went 0 for 3 with a run scored and a walk.
Carlton Daal went 0 for 4 in the Tortugas’ 6-7 loss vs the Palm Beach Cardinals.
A Full Season
The Rome Braves beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers 7-6. Ozhaino Albies went 2 for 5 with one K and a run scored. Ozhaino stole two bases, was caught stealing one, made an error and was part of two double plays (6-4-3 and 4-6-3).
Darren Seferina went 1 for 4 in Peoria’s loss vs Cedar Rapids. The sole hit that Darren got was a triple. He also drew a walk, struck out once and scored a run. He was caught stealing and was part of a double play twice (4-6-3 and 6-4-3).
As the Beloit Snappers lost 8-0 to the Quad Cities RiverBandits, Shawn Duinkerk was one of the many Snappers that didn not get a hit (0 for 3 with 2 strikeouts).
