Dutchies in the Minor Leagues, Wednesday April 15

AAA

Roger Bernadina played his sixth game of the season and collected 2 basehits out of four at bats. In his first at bat of the game he hit an RBI line drive. He drove in one of the five runs that the Isotopes scored in the first inning. Eventually they beat the Tacoma Rainiers 7-6.

AA

Randolph Oduber went 0 for 3 in Harrisburg’s 7-3 loss vs the Bowie BaySox. On the defensive side he caught one fly ball hit by Bowie’s Mike McDade.

A Advanced

The Potomac Nationals played a double header against the Winston-Salem Dash. Spencer Kieboom played in the second game. He went 0 for 3 with a strikeout but he still managed to drive in a run with a sac fly as he drove in Christopher Bostick, who had stolen second and third base right after each other during Kieboom’s at bat. Spencer also threw a potential base stealer.

A Full Season

The Lakewood BlueClaws lost 7-2 to the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Jiandido Tromp went 0 for 4 with a strikeout.

The Clinton LumberKings were beaten by the Kane County Cougars 5-2. Gianfranco Wawoe went 1 for 2 as he hit a solo homerun in the sixth inning. He also drew a walk.

The Peoria Chiefs beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels in a close game 3-2. Darren Seferina collected two hits in five at bats and struck out twice. For the fourth consecutive game he collected two hits in a game. His batting average is at a very respectable .409 right  now.
