On day one, only one game was decided in less than nine innings. The Dutch had no mercy with Croatia. The first game in Regensburg (Sweden vs Great Britain) was rained out and has been rescheduled for tomorrow. The French beat the Germans 3-2, but the score could have been a lot bigger. In the…
In today’s second game in Ostrava (Czech Republic), the Dutch took on Croatia. Ostrava was lucky since Regensburg in Germany was bothered by the rain and the first game there was rained out. The Dutch were the road team and started the game at bat. Hainley Statia led off but grounded out to first base…

MLB Roger Bernadina…

Therefore I like to write about them as well. A AdvancedIf one player deserves a championship ring, it is Randolph…
Since 2004 I am addicted to Minor League baseball. Not that it is easy to attend a game when you live in the Netherlands, but I love the way those clubs are more focused on families, children and the related entertainment. In 2008 I attended my first Minor League game at Adelanto, CA. The High…
Today another overview of Dutch and Netherlands Antillian players in the playoffs of the various minor leagues. A AdvancedThe Potomac Nationals tied the championship series of the Carolina League at one game a piece. At bat, Randolph Oduber had a hell of a game for the Nationals. In five at bats he collected two singels…
Tonight the Dutch got their “revenge” for the 12-8 loss vs France last night. The Dutch won 3-2, but the win wasn’t convincing. The Dutch started with Rob Cordemans on the mound. The hero of the 2011 World Cup final recently burned his hand and was pulled after one inning in which he allowed one…
