Baseball allowed in Austria as well

Sure it is not one of the main competitions of Europe, even though the Austrians managed to stay in the A group of the European Championship, but there is some good news from the Alpine country.

baseballaustria.comToday, the Austrian government announced that Austrians can practice sport in the open air again, starting July 1st. This means that the Austrian competition can take off as well.

According to the website of the ABF (Austrian Baseball Federation), guidelines on how to deal with the situation will follow a.s.a.p.

Coming Friday, the ABF will organize a press conference about the start of the season in July.
