Australian Baseball hit by Bushfires

The massive bushfires in Australia are mainly taking the toll of nature and houses. But now the Australian Baseball League is also hit by it as you can read below.

The main cities on the Australian East Coast, cities like Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane are surrounded by bushfires. Because of it, the air quality is very bad. Also, Adelaide in the Southwest is bothered by the bushfires.
The situation is even that bad that several inhabitants of the state of Victoria have fled to the beaches to escape the fires.

The poor air quality has now caused the cancellation of this week’s series between the Canberra Cavalry and the Adelaide Giants. The air quality in Canberra is this bad, it is not justified to have the series played.

It remains to be seen if the game between the Giants and the Cavalry will be rescheduled. It may be likely that other games in the coming weeks will be canceled as well.
