Roger Bernadina clinches Korean championship with Kia Tigers
Even though the Doosan Bears won the first game of the Korean Series, the team was no match for the Kia Tigers in the following four games. Today, the Kia Tigers beat the team from Seoul 7-6 to clinch its eleventh title.
Once again, Roger Bernadina proved to be a big value to the team as he went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. But the biggest impact today had third baseman Lee Bum-ho,

who drove in four runs with one blow in the third inning. Together with an RBI single of Roger Bernadina, this grand slam home run lifted the Kia Tigers to a 5-0 lead in the third frame.
A two-run sixth inning gave the Tigers a decisive lead. But it would be a close call as Hector Noesi got through the first six innings without any problems. He allowed runners in scoring position a few times but still managed to get out of the innings without damage. But the seventh, Noesi was hit hard in the seventh inning and was tabbed for five earned runs.
Despite his struggles in the seventh inning, Hector Noesi earned the win.
