According to a source from Curaçao, the Texas Rangers have sent Jurickson Profar to their AAA farm team, the Round Rock Express. So far he could not impress the Texas Rangers and had to make room for Pete Kozma, who was placed on waivers by the New York Yankees because of the return of Didi Gregorius.
Even though the Rangers had moved Profar to the outfield, he did not manage to clinch a starting spot. Main reason for this was the lack of offense. In 37 at-bats, Profar collected just 5 hits resulting in a .135 batting average. The Rangers moved the infielder to the outfield because their infield was set with stars like Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor and Mike Napoli.
After having spent almost two seasons on the disabled list, 2017 should have been the year of his comeback. His performance during the World Baseball Classic looked promising as Profar collected 13 hits in 28 at-bats (.516) with four RBI as he was the second best Dutchie after Wladimir Balentien, who hit .677.
Now he has made room for Pete Kozma, Profar will play with the Round Rock Express of the Pacific Coast League. With this team, he will get more at-bats so he can get into a flow. Currently, the Round Rock Express is in second place of the American Southern Division, trailing division-leading Memphis Redbirds by two games.
If he is not a Dutchie, why is he playing for team Kingdom of the Netherlands. If you read my blog more often, you will see that I mention the descent of players from Curacao and Aruba.
Stop nitpicking.

He’s not a Dutchie… Stop showing off with talents from Curacao. Call him “a guy from Curacao” just like you call all criminals from Curacao “a guy from Curacao”. It’s enough with the Dutch hypocrisy.
