Nashville Sounds unveil new Friday look
The Nashville Sounds (AAA affiliate of the Oakland Athletics in the Pacific Coast League) unveiled a new look yesterday. The new jersey and cap will be worn on Friday home games.
In the past, the Sounds have worn several specialty jerseys on a specific night of the week. Perhaps the best example is the team’s Throwback Thursday.
Throwback Thursday is will return this year and it will honor the 1978 Sounds, but it will be followed on the calendar by a very nice look the team will sport on Fridays. For every Friday home game this season, the Sounds will wear a red a uniform that features the Nashville script across the front. The sleeves of the jersey will be marked with a black guitar head.
The new jersey and cap are crimson red and sport some nice features.
The cap will sport a logo that contains an old vinyl record with the three stars of the Tennessee flag on the label of the record. On the background of the logo is the outline of the state of Tennessee. In the shop, the cap is called Red Record State Alternate Hat. Personally, I think this new hat is pretty sweet.

The jersey is the same shade of red and sports a guitar head on both sleeves/shoulders. Also, the head sports the three stars of Tennessee. The script on the jersey says Nashville and has the same playful font as the word Sounds on the home jersey of the club.
