After the final out of today’s final of the Premier 12 tournament, the All World team was selected. Two players of the Kingdom of the Netherlands were selected.

Carlton Daal, the young shortstop of the Cincinnati Reds organization, was chosen as the best shortstop of the tournament.
The organisation of the tournament looked at the performance of players in round one, the quarter finals and the semi-finals.
Next to Carlton Daal, Randolph Oduber was chosen as one of the tournament’s best outfielders. Next to that award, Oduber also won an award for most stolen bases. He just missed the award for the hitter with the best batting average. That award went to Matt McBride of the USA.

The other players that earned an award for being the best at their position are: Matt McBride (outfield, USA), Hyun-Soo Kim (outfield, Korea), Shohei Otani (starting pitcher, Japan), Dustin Molleken (reliever, Canada), Sho Nakata (first base, Japan), Adam Frazier (second base, USA), Jaegyun Hwang (third base, Korea), Humberto Soto (catcher, Mexico).
