Two ballparks in Aruba damaged due to bad weather
Apparently the weather in Aruba has not been good the last couple of days. Two ballparks were damaged due to gusty winds.
First, on Sunday a light pole came down at the ballpark of CBN Eagles in Noord. The pole slammed the roof of the consession stand which needs to be replaced as needs the light post.
On Monday, Veld di Caribe was hit by gusty winds that blew off the roof of the stands during Little League practice. Luckily no one was hurt. Veld di Caribe was home to Sicnarf Loopstok, Jiandido Tromp and Randolf Oduber once when they
played for Caribe Piratas.
In March 2013 Veld di Caribe was completely renovated. The Little League ballpark is home to the Stars Baseball Aruba club that is one of the major youth baseball institutions on the island.
