New sponsor for Neptunus

After sixteen years DOOR will not be the sponsor of current Dutch champion Neptunus anymore.

The team from Rotterdam has struck a deal with Curacao foundation Fondashon bon Intenshon (Foudation good intention).
This foundation was founded in 1990 and is trying to put Curacao on the map internationally.
It  is active in the areas of culture, music, health care, the battle against poverty, education, tourism and sports. The foundation is also fellow organiser of the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival.

The name of Curacao could be seen on the jerseys of Rotteram baseball club Sparta/Feyenoord. The club was declared bankrupt in 2012.

The agreement between Fondashon bon Intenshon and Neptunus wil last for three years.

I think this is a good step since Dutch baseball is where it is now thanks to players from Curacao and Aruba.
