A Full Season:
The Cubs Midwest League affiliate in South Bend will be called the South Bend Cubs. What a lack of inspiration here. Was it really too hard to think of a new name that is related to the area?

The Oakland Athletics will stay in Beloit. They have extended the current PDC with the Snappers through the 2016 season.
The Diamondbacks on their turn left South Bend, after the latter signed a two year deal with the Cubs. In fact the Cubs and the D-Backs are trading places since the Phoenix based team moves its A Advanced team to Kane County to become the parent club of the Cougars for the upcoming two years. .
With the extension of the PDC between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Lansing Lugnuts (also Midwest League), all affiliations in A Full Seasons are set. The Blue Jays will stay in Lansing for an additional two years, through 2016.
A Short Season:
The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes have extended their PDC with the San Francisco Giants with another two years.
In total there are still two A Advanced teams without an affiliation: The High Desert Mavericks (former Mariners) from the California League and the Carolina Mudcats (former Indians) from the Carolina League. The two MLB teams left without an A Advanced affiliation are the Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers. To be continued……
