Today, yours truly went to Borgerhout to attend the annual Johan Veraghtert Tournament. This year, host Borgerhout Squirrels, neighbor Deurne Spartans, runner up in last year's Belgian championship Brasschaat Braves, L&D Amsterdam Pirates, and the farm team of Oosterhout Twins participated. A part of the games was played at the facility of neighboring Deurne Spartans. …
Today, I went to see a game in the Dutch overgangsklasse (second-tier league) as the Dutch hoofdklasse season is already over. The game between Alcmaria Victrix and Oosterhout Twins 2 (farm team of the Hoofdklasse club Oosterhout Twins) was played in Oosterhout. Twins 2 won the game 14-7. Here is a photo impression of that …
