My Top Ten of Mexican Ballcaps
For a long time, baseball caps from Mexico were an uncharted area for me. Until 2024, when I acquired two caps of Mexican clubs through a European vintage website. That kinda opened the flood gates.
In April/May 2024, I had to go to Los Angeles for family business. Short before that trip, I bumped into some posts of a baseball cap store on Instagram: The 4th Quarter .
It appeared this shop in the North of Los Angeles (near Eagle Rock) had a ship load of on-field baseball caps, Mexican clubs included.
When I paid the shop a visit, it was like I entered heaven. I acquired my third Mexican ballcap and later that year when I returned for a four-week vacation, I bought several more.
Mexico has two professional baseball leagues. In the summer time, the LMB (Liga Mexicana de Beisbol), and in the winter, the Liga Mexicana del Pacifico. Some clubs are playing in both leagues (Sultanes de Monterrey and the Charros de Jalisco).
Here is my top ten of Mexican ball caps, counting down to one.
