Return of Rick van den Hurk pushed back

According to YakyuDB, Rick van den Hurk has developed a pain in the neck while playing Rickcatch on June 21. Because of this pain his return to the Softbank Hawks has been pushed back.
Hawks manager Kimiyasu Kudo has not put a time table on Rick’s return.

Two weeks ago, Van den den Hurk was removed from the active roster due to signs of fatigue. Because of this, Rick underwent several tests.

According to Sponichi.co.jp, Rick will resume pitching practice in 19 days, but because of the announcement of Kimiyasu Kudo, it remains to be seen when Rick will take the mound for the Hawks in a game again; especially when Nikkansports.com says that the treatment of a spained neck takes about 22 days.
