Heidenheim Heideköpfe @ Bonn Capitals, a Photo Impression

Yesterday, yours truly went to Bonn, the former capital of Germany, to attend game one of the semi-final of the DBL (Deutsche Baseball Liga) championship. Heidenheim stayed at the right side of the score as they beat Bonn 6-4.

About a week ago, Heidenheim Heideköpfe already gave off a good impression as they beat Bonn Capitals in the final of the European Baseball Champions Cup.

Yesterday, Bonn took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Heidenheim bounced back in the top of the fourth inning as they scored two runs on a home run by Shawn Larry. Even though Markus Solbach struck out twelve batters, he was hit hard at times. In the fifth inning, Heidenheim added two more runs to their score. In the eighth inning, Heidenheim dealt the decisive blow as it scored two more runs. Bonn scored a run in the bottom of the sixth and the eighth and in the ninth inning they also scored one, but there their offensive push ended.
