2022 Johan Veraghtert Tournament
Today, yours truly went to Borgerhout to attend the annual Johan Veraghtert Tournament. This year, host Borgerhout Squirrels, neighbor Deurne Spartans, runner up in last year’s Belgian championship Brasschaat Braves, L&D Amsterdam Pirates, and the farm team of Oosterhout Twins participated. A part of the games was played at the facility of neighboring Deurne Spartans.
Until 15.30 (3.30 PM) it was cold with a heavy overcast. But around 15.30, the sun came out and it became a nice day after all.
