Belgium 11 – 12 Austria
In the third game of the tournament, Austria upset Belgium in a narrow escape and a walk-off victory. Trailing 4-2 at the start of the bottom of the sixth inning, Austria grabbed the lead thanks to a two-run single by Ferdinand Obed and a three-run jack by Sammy Hackl.
