Curaçao to be installed as official member of Latin American Baseball Association

After their debut at the Series Latinoamericana, in which they won one game, the board of the Latin American Baseball Association (Asociación Latinoamericana de Béisbol) will add Curaçao as an official member of the organization.

In the press release, the Latin American Baseball Association called Curaçao a great opponent with a good level of competitiveness. Together with Colombia, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Panama, Curaçao is now one of the official countries to participate in the annual Latin American Championship.

Curaçao participated as a guest in the sixth edition of the Series Lationoamericana.

Today at 4:30 PM local Nicaragua time, the agreement will be signed in the conference room of Estadio Dennis Martinez.

Yurendell de Caster will be representing Curaçao during the ceremony.
