A few changes on European roster for AWBL

On November 4 you could read the roster of the European team that will participate in this year’s Asia Winter Baseball League on this blog.

Today the WBSC, the governing body of baseball and softball in the world,released the definite roster. Compared to the roster that I found on baseball.it, there are a few changes.

There are a few changes in the pitchers section. Crepaldi is mentioned in my blog post but the name is missing on the definite roster. The name of Owen Ozainich was added.

No changes in the catchers section.

Also in the infielders section and in the outfielders section there are no changes.

The Asian Winter Baseball League will run from November 26 through December 18 and will be played in Taichung in Taiwan. Next to team Europe, there will be teams from Korea (KBO selection), Japan (two NPB teams) and two from Taiwan.
